Camino Modern

Camino Modern, an infill, flexible lot development community on the East side of Tucson evolved from its predecessor, Park Modern. A former 5+ acre apartment site was initially acquired along with a city owned alley directly adjacent to the parcel. We proactively worked
with the city to purchase the second parcel was critical to the project’s success. This allowed for a better site plan. After acquisition, our joint venture group developed the Park Modern concept further by
offering 4+ additional floor plans of varied sizes to appeal to a greater demographic. The conceptual layout, lot sizes, orientation, price points and other factors were all re-evaluated as part of our project-by-project approach to determine the highest and best use. Fifty-four homes were ultimately built appealing to a much wider consumer base offering a new housing
type for the area and its residents.
